Cengage Statement Regarding Senior Chinese Course Textbook

Educating students is an important privilege and responsibility. We work hard to ensure our commitment in providing quality learning materials is realized, however we fell short with the Senior Chinese Course text. We have taken immediate action to recall the 750 copies of this text currently in circulation in Australia and Singapore and halted any further production or sales until these issues are rectified. Furthermore, Cengage has begun a thorough review of this text and other texts in the series. We regret that this oversight occurred, and are making corrections and improvements to address these concerns now and going forward. We provide tens of thousands of textbooks each year to support Chinese language learners around the globe and are dedicated to providing the best materials possible to educate students.
