Cengage Receives Northern Kentucky Education Council’s 2018 Business Engagement of the Year Award
BOSTON, May 23, 2018 – Cengage, an education and technology company, has been recognized with the 2018 Business Engagement of the Year Award for its partnership with Northern Kentucky schools to improve local student achievement.
The award is presented annually by the Northern Kentucky Education Council, the backbone organization for the alignment of education initiatives in Northern Kentucky. Cengage was honored for its proactive involvement with local educational initiatives and programs that enrich students’ lives and contribute to the community.

Cengage participates in a partnership with Gateway Community and Technical College and Partners for a Competitive Workforce to offer a Supply Chain Management Program to students. The program provides skills training and certifications to jumpstart careers, earn college credits, and connect students with high-wage, high demand employers in the area. Cengage also partners with Boone County Schools, Easter Seals, and the Kentucky Career Center Office of Vocational Rehabilitation to provide an on-site classroom and training positions for individuals with cognitive disabilities through Project Search.
