Chegg and Cengage to Offer 1 to 1 Online Tutoring to Students in STEM Disciplines
June 21, 2017 – Santa Clara, Calif., and Boston, Mass. – Chegg (NYSE:CHGG), the Smarter Way to Student, and Cengage, an education and technology company, today announced plans to incorporate on-demand expert tutors for students in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines. Chegg Tutors, a network of online, on-demand live human vetted expert tutors, will be directly accessible to all students using WebAssign, an online assessment and homework solution.
Beginning this fall, students using WebAssign will be provided with 30 minutes of free 1 on 1 instruction through Chegg Tutors, with the additional option to continue their learning at a student-first, affordable, pricepoint (as inexpensive as $0.50 per minute)*.
