Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, which recognizes the contributions, achievements and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans. To celebrate, we asked Sarah B., Clarence L., Roxanne W., Shirley Z. and Geredith G. to share their thoughts on what the month means to them, how they celebrate and what traditions in their cultures they are most proud and excited by.

 

Sarah, Implementation Specialist and member of Mosaic (our Employee Resource Group for BIPOC employees), has organized several events throughout the month to encourage more people to engage with AAPI identity, heritage and culture.

Shirley, Senior Strategy & Transformation Manager, was born in Shanghai and moved back and forth between China and the U.S. for much of her childhood.
