Bob Munro

Bob Munro joined Cengage Group as Chief Financial Officer in 2019. In this role he is responsible for leading all parts of the Company's finance function, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, accounting and control, treasury, tax, internal audit and investor relations.

Throughout his career, Bob has specialized in overseeing complex digital transformations, preparing companies for the business models of the future. He believes the CFO must be an active partner in building, funding, resourcing and activating corporate strategy.

Prior to Cengage Group and since 2015, Bob served as the Chief Financial Officer of Callcredit Information Group, a credit reference agency and risk information solutions provider, which was acquired by TransUnion in 2018. Earlier in his career, Bob served in a variety of senior management and financial roles at RELX (formerly Reed Elsevier plc), including Chief Financial Officer of Elsevier Health Sciences. His professional career started at Price Waterhouse, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a B.Sc. in physics and microelectronics from the University of Essex. He is based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
